About This Project

Last Digit Standing: IoT Escape Room & Puzzle Game was developed as my end-of-semester project for university. The goal was to combine a traditional 3D puzzle escape room with IoT hardware integration, creating a hybrid arcade experience that can be played using either standard PC controls or a custom-built physical controller.

Unlike a typical escape room game, this project supports an ESP32-based rotary encoder controller, allowing players to physically rotate a dial and press a button to enter the vault combination, just like operating a real safe. The game can also be enjoyed entirely with a mouse and keyboard, making it accessible even without the hardware.

This project explores the intersection of game development, interactive 3D environments, and embedded systems, turning a digital puzzle game into a more immersive hands-on arcade experience.
